Services

Individual Psychotherapy

We are all born into the world of relationships. In the light of relationships, we begin to see ourselves through the eyes of those who look at us. When these relationships fail, when they are hit, we begin to perceive this inadequacy as a part of the self. This gaze plays a fundamental role in the decisions we make, our feelings, and the relationships we form. Psychological complaints and symptoms are the self’s attempt for reconciliation. In psychotherapy, it is the relationship itself that is healing. In a safe and non-judgmental space, one gains mastery over one’s own experiences and story. Our goal in psychotherapy processes is to open the door for discovering your own meaning and your boundaries.

Family Counselling

Being a parent or expecting a baby can be emotionally challenging. In the first years of parenthood, a relative increase in anxiety, social isolation and marital problems can be experienced. In this process, lack of emotional and social support can exacerbate psychological complaints. If these experiences sound familiar to you, you can seek psychotherapy and parent counselling. Our main aim in parent counseling processes is for you to dedicate your inner resources to enjoying raising your child and to reduce parenting stress.

Migration Focused Counselling

The migration process undermines the immigrant’s mental stability. There may be feelings of discontinuity in identity. Migration may result in an individual’s withdrawal from the affirmative environmental interaction that is necessary for self-development. This process, by its nature, activates the mourning process with losses and differentiated external reality. The uncertainties brought by the migration process can cause anxiety. With all these emotional processes, the identity is transformed. You can contact us to make sense of your experiences in the migration process and to feel control over the transformation you are going through.

Professional Psychological Counselling

Employers should be able to meet the needs of ethnic cultural diversity in their institutions and manage conflict resolution processes by taking into consideration of these differences and diversities. We offer migration-focused professional counselling to support the psychological well-being of employers and employees and to increase work performance. The counselling services for multi-ethnic organizations put culture at the center of professional relationship instead of locating it at the periphery of workspace. By doing so, the diversities are used as a tool for empowering employees, to affirm their strengths, enhance personal and collective wellbeing, and promote liberation within a culturally responsive manner.

Psychosocial Support

I-Deal Psychotherapy implement community-based psychosocial support interventions, which are based on the idea that if people are empowered to care for themselves and each other, their individual and communal self-confidence and resources will improve. This, in turn, will encourage positive recovery and strengthen their ability to deal with challenges in the future.Psychosocial support can be both preventive and curative. It is preventive when it decreases the risk of developing mental health problems. It is curative when it helps individuals and communities to overcome and deal with psychosocial problems that may have arisen from the shock and effects of crises. These two aspects of psychosocial support contribute to the building of resilience in the face of new crises or other challenging life circumstances.

I-Deal Peer Groups

Peer groups play an important role in socialization, especially in childhood and adolescence. Peer groups are the only form of socialization that is not under the control of adults. Peer groups provide children with the opportunity to be a part of relationships that are productive and beneficial for all parties involved. They also allow children to create relationships with one another without being under adult control. Peer groups foster self-exploration. Children begin to make decisions for themselves and participate in activities that allow them to express who they are. Children are also able to experience and work through conflicts with their peers, cooperate with each other, and compete with each other in peer groups.
